Airsoft is a growing sport in the UK. Similar to Paintball you are armed with a gun, but instead of firing larger balls of paint, they fire small BB rounds. The guns are arguably more accurate and look more realistic than their standard paintball equivalents. 

Indoor airsoft has a lower velocity limit on the guns (under 350 fps) as you are likely closer to your target when firing than when outdoors. The power of the gun can't be more than 1.14 Joules for a single shot, semi automatic firearm for 0.2g ammunition. The weight of the BBs allowed on site are 0.2g & 0.25g.

Airsoft is a trust based system as no physical evidence is left when you are hit. As such a good game relies on players being honest. However, we also have marshals keeping watch should anyone get a little over zealous and "forget" to acknowledge when they are hit.  There are a growing list of Airsoft games played such as capture the flag, VIP, Hostage rescue, Zombie and many more.

Players take great pride in their equipment and armoury due to the large variety of options available. You can also add attachments to weapons including, but not limited to, silencers, tracer rounds, lights, optics and more.

BB rounds, like paintball pellets can be painful when hitting bare skin and may leave a mark. As such it is always wise to wear full length sleaves and trousers for protection. There is also a range of protective body armour, gloves, face masks and eye protection to choose from.
